Earth day is a day centered around celebrating the planet. SSM represents that by making a day that includes getting students outside and connecting with the outdoors. The day kicked off with a group yoga session. All the students participated in connecting with nature and being outside. The morning was filled with activities and a special presentation. Students got to participate in fun activities outdoors, from pickleball to outdoor nature walks learning about nature. The SSM body got to watch a professional raptor presentation, which included a professional showing raptor birds. They presented four birds from a Bald Eagle to a small Falcon species.
Everyone looks towards Impact Wednesday for a lot of reasons, but one being the dining hall food. The students got to enjoy a delicious meal with all sorts of things they love that only occur on Impact Wednesdays. The staff and students earlier in the year tapped maple trees collecting maple syrup which on Wednesday was used on top of ice cream adding our own twist of sweetness to the day. The afternoon was filled with more activities in the morning, but also finished the day off with the poster presentations from the major. This was the last Impact Wednesday of the 2025-2026 school year and it was a huge success.
